Turbine Flow Meters

Turbine flow meters are a flow measurement instrument used to measure the flow of fluids, particularly liquids, based on the rotation of a turbine.

These instruments consist of a turbine positioned inside a tube through which the fluid flows. When the fluid passes through the tube, the turbine begins to rotate. The rotation speed of the turbine is proportional to the fluid’s velocity and, consequently, to the fluid’s flow rate. The turbine’s rotation data is then used to calculate the fluid’s flow rate.
